Pathfinder race: Irano

Irano

Irano are a small, but ferocious race. They came from the Porra forests, where some of the most dangerous animals and beasts hail from. The trees are like iron—as is the Irano’s will. They are proud, and do not take insults lightly.

Iranos have pale skin with a light coat of fur. Their long ears droop down to mid-neck, and their hair is a peculiar bright colour that ranges from yellow to red. Their eyes are black as night, with small white pupils within.

They gain a +1 size bonus to their AC and attack rolls, as well as a +4 bonus to stealth checks. They are still considered medium for the purposes of CMB, CMD, movement speed, and weapon size.

Languages: Irano begin play speaking Porran. They may also choose from the following with a high intelligence score: Common, dwarven, gnome, goblin, orc, feralin, and halfling.

Alternate racial traits

Healthy: Living in the forests have evolved Irano to become resistance to diseases and poisons, as well as magical and supernatural ones. They gain a +4 bonus to saving throws against these effects. This replaces escapist.

Stand your ground: Some Irano prefer to stand and fight, rather than avoid combat. They gain a +1 bonus to their CMD, and a +1 dodge bonus to their AC. This replaces escapist, forest walker, and eternal hope.

Stubborn: Irano gain a +2 racial bonus on Will saving throws to resist spells and spell-like abilities of the enchantment (charm) and enchantment (compulsion) subschools. In addition, if an Irano fails such a save, it receives another save 1 round later to prematurely end the effect (assuming the spell or spell-like ability has a duration greater than 1 round). This second save is made at the same DC as the first. If the member of the race has a similar ability from another source (such as a rogue's slippery mind class feature), it can only use one of these abilities per round, but can try the other on the second round if the first reroll ability fails. This replaces eternal hope and escapist.
